Born and raised in Kenya, I moved to the United States in 2001. I got my BSN at the university of Nebraska Medical Center-Lincoln in 2006. Makes me a huge Football/Husker fan. I worked at Banner Health as a bedside registered Nurse, and clinical manager from 2007 – 2012, went back to school for a Masters in Nursing Leadership at Grand Canyon University, 2009. Joined Cancer Treatment centers of America in 2012 – 2015, worked Oncology research, doing clinical trials. Went to University of Phoenix in 2013 for my Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner.
I strive for work-life balance and during my free time I love watching sports, playing volleyball, playing basketball and playing ping pong. I love traveling, camping, hiking. Married with 2 beautiful kids, 5y/o girl and 8 month old boy. Being an NP is so fulling, I get to work directly with people and make a true difference in the lives of entire communities. I get to work with people of all ages, genders and ethnicity, as well as with the full range of medical problems.
