Don is new to Arizona from the Midwest. He grew up on a farm in South Dakota with a family of 11 and has lived in the Twin Cities in Minnesota for the past 26 years. Don is married with three sons ages 15, 13, and 8. He enjoys traveling as much as possible, running, and being outdoors which has prompted the move to Arizona.
Don has 26 years of experience in health care. He was a respiratory therapist for 10 years while furthering his education as a physician assistant at Augsburg college in Minneapolis. He spent 10 years doing emergency medicine in a small, but busy, suburban emergency room where he gained a lot of experience with all age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics. He gained invaluable knowledge in treating a wide range of medical conditions, including trauma care, orthopedics, and a significant amount of experience with wound repairs. Don transitioned into primary care in 2009 and was able to establish a fairly busy family practice. During that time he decided to pursue his MBA, finishing in 2013.
He is looking forward to continuing his medical practice in Arizona and prides himself in always doing what he thinks is best for patients as well as promoting health and wellness in both his personal and professional life.
