Norah Parker always had a passion for helping others as well as a fascination with the human body and its intricate workings. She knew she would be in the medical field since she was a little girl. Norah is originally from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico but she grew up in Mesa, Arizona. She is happily married with two little girls. When Norah’s not busy caring for her patients she loves being outdoors spending time with her family. She also enjoys playing the piano and reading a good book.
Norah Parker first obtained her degree at Arizona State University in bio-engineering. Norah Parker says she, “thought it would satiate my need to be in healthcare but soon realized I would not have any patient contact”. That’s when she decided to go to Midwestern University and obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies with emphasis in Health Professions Education degree. She loved the emphasis they placed on patient education and has loved working in medicine ever since.
Norah Parker loves to educate her patients on what is going on in their body and any modifications they can do to help in their healing process as well as prescribing the right medications. Her motto is “Not just Medicate but Educate!”.
