Riley Hooks is a native to Arizona, born and raised in Gilbert. He attended Arizona State University where he received his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. While attending ASU, he worked in the emergency department and for a physical therapy group specializing in physiatry. He initially thought he wanted to become a physical therapist, but with increased exposure to PA’s in his physiatry office and in the ER, he became drawn toward the PA profession. He began his PA studies in 2012 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Since graduating he has practiced locally in urgent care. What he enjoys most about work is training/teaching others, patient education, and being a good advocate for his patient’s well being. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife, baby boy and Boston terrier.
